About Southern Quality Hay
Southern Quality Hay is a family business that strives to provide top quality hay for
when quality counts.
Producing hay in Williamsport, Tennessee many of our customers are local
farms in middle Tennessee. However our quality meets the most critical
demands of our customers in Alabama and Florida.
We accomplish our high standards by maintaining clean fields, free of weeds.
We cut hay at precise maturity, ensuring tender leaves and high protein. After
allowing sufficient drying time, we moisture-test and, at correct moisture, produce
tight, dry bales.
Our business began growing Alfalfa and Orchard Grass in 1997 in a 10-acre field
to supply a local horse training facility. Hay was loaded and delivered straight from
the field due to our lack of storage. Since then we have grown to over 120 acres of
hay, trying to meet increasing customer demands. We now have a 6,240 square
foot hay barn that enables us to sell directly from the barn.
Customer satisfaction is a priority because we believe our best advertisement is
